Here are some answers to my most frequent questions.....
~What should I wear is a common question I get. Here are some suggestions to help plan for your session.
I always suggest wearing fun colors so that they add a pop to your photos. Layers are always good, like a jacket so you could take it off to change up the outfit without actually changing. For families I think it's good to coordinate but not to be to "matchy matchy". I love adding assessories to the outfits, like hats, scarves, necklaces anything you could think of to add some fun personality to it. Pinterest has tons of ideas I would suggest going on there and taking a look.
~How long are your sessions? And do you have a studio?
I do have a home studio that I use many of my backdrops and larger prop items, my studio is in Oswego.
Sessions are slotted for an hour but it varies depending on the age I'm photographing. Sometimes for smaller children it could take them a little time to warm up before I start photographing to ensure I'm getting their true personalities in the photos. For older children or couples it could be quicker. But I always say an hour to be safe.
Where do you suggest I print my pictures?
Well I would always say a professional lab is best. The paper and color is on a grander level. There is a difference in quality of a professional lab vs a photo kiosk. I do have a lab I use if you want to do printing with me. I also have tried Costco print lab and it's really affordable and the quality is great.
When will I receive my images?
I give a 2 week estimate but it could always be quicker. I first load your images to view and have you pick out your favorite 10 images and after that I will email your digital link of all of the images not just the 10 faves. You do get all your images in my packages. You will receive a gallery of 30-50 images.
